Wild Country raises nearly £3000 for GB Para Climbing TeamCrack-Machine

Wild Country are supporting the BMC Para Climbing Team in 2014/15. As part of this support the Crack School Masterclasses we ran this winter – which featured the Wideboys Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker showing off their crack skills – were dedicated to the Para Team.

And thanks to the generosity of the participating walls who gave their time and wall space for nothing we have raised a fantastic sum to help send the Para team to events across Europe.

Wild Country would like to thank the generosity of all the walls involved:
Boulders, Cardiff. www.bouldersuk.com
The Foundry, Sheffield. www.foundryclimbing.com
Manchester Climbing Centre. www.manchesterclimbingcentre.com
The Leeds Wall, Leeds. www.theleedswall.co.uk
The Climbing Station, Loughborough.  www.theclimbingstation.com
Castle Climbing Centre, London. www.castle-climbing.co.uk

You can check out the fun that was had at our Crack School Masterclasses on this video...

Wild Country Marketing Manager Richie Patterson commented “We have had a fantastic response frrm the public and from the climbing walls. We are so pleased to have raised this sum and we hope we can keep doing more to help the team.”

The final round of the Para Team is in Manchester on Sat 24th May so please come along and support http://community.thebmc.co.uk/Event.aspx?id=3174

And another chance to help out the Para Team is at the Wild Country and Outside crag clean up is where there will be a charity showing of Wideboyz 2 – all donations to the GB Para Team. It’s a great fun day and there are some great prizes as well as Wild Country special offers in store!! (and a Crack Machine http://bit.ly/CrackMachineChallenge)
