"Born in Parma the 25th of february 1985, I've started climbing as a game when I was only 12 and I was still dreaming of being a volleyball player... then luckily i've engaged in that game and now it's a long time I'm dreaming of rocks,
chalk , near and far places...
As a student of mathematics at the univesity of Parma, I've always been interested in abstract reasoning, mathematics and theoretical physics in general. Over the years anyway I've realized that I can't do without open air life and so I've devoted more and more time to climbing and photography. This lets me live my passions, and share them with others through pictures, that for a mathematician are always easier to use than words... Keen on "bouldering" I've been taking part to the italian competition circuit since 2001, and from 2004 to the international one as a member of the italian climbing team. But it's on rock fortunately where I spend most of my time, having climbed in and repeated boulders over the main european areas and in some of the best spots of the United States. My heart is still bound to the forest of Fontainebleau and to our emilian Apennines' sandstone, where I had the luck to discover and make the first ascent of some of my favourite ever lines."
Michele has also excelled on gritsone where he has made some astounding ascents and plenty of them - including The End of The Affair, Careless Torque, and he's also got away with an amzing fall or two including a big lob from the 2nd crux of New Statesman - at about 8 metres - where a handy pad placement saved him.
